Yorkshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer
God’s own country, my home, and the place my kids were born. I’m lucky to call myself a full-time Yorkshire wedding photographer.
Wedding photography and films in Yorkshire
I’ve been a Yorkshire wedding photographer since 2010 and a videographer since 2022, and Yorkshire has been home for even longer. There’s something magical about getting married here. I should know: Verity and I married at Burnsall in the Dales back in 2012, and we still live a few miles downstream on the River Wharfe.
From rustic barn weddings, and not-so-rustic barn weddings, to iconic venues like Rise Hall, Allerton Castle and Carlton Towers, Yorkshire has something for every taste. Even a Scarborough seafront wedding, if that’s your thing.
Starting out in Leeds in 2010, I quickly found myself working further afield, but Yorkshire is still where I photograph most of my weddings each year, and where I know the venues, the light and the back roads best.

Yorkshire weddings

Why I love a Yorkshire wedding
Whether it’s the wild, rugged beauty of the Yorkshire Dales or the stately elegance of a Harrogate or York wedding, there is always something special about a wedding here. If you’re looking for a breathtaking backdrop for your portraits, the River Wharfe is hard to beat, winding through some of the most picturesque countryside in the county. I might be biased on that front.
I film weddings too, so Yorkshire couples can have photography, a cinematic film, or both. See my Yorkshire wedding videography for recent films.
