Hi, I’m Chris, a Leeds wedding photographer and videographer working across Yorkshire, the UK and beyond. I’ve been telling stories about couples in love since 2010, the year I graduated from the Northern Film School in Leeds. I’m not sure why the universe led me to weddings, but I knew straight away these were the stories I wanted to tell: the ones that matter as much in fifty years as they do today.
Originally from the Midlands, I moved to Leeds for university in 2007 and felt like I’d found home. I still photograph plenty of weddings in and around the city, from Leeds Cathedral and Oakwell Hall to Harewood House and Wood Hall, and it’s always refreshing to know the roads like the back of my hand.
I’ve twice been ranked the UK’s number one wedding photographer by MyWed, and listed by Rangefinder, Gohen and SLR Lounge among the UK’s best. I’ve also been a keynote speaker at conferences in the UK, Europe and America.
A little about me
I love exploring the countryside with my wife Verity and our sons River and Bodhi in our campervan. I’ve always been too competitive for my own good and love a bit of type-two fun on my bike or out for an open-water swim (I still hate the cold). In an area famous for its sport, that led to working with some of the world’s leading brands and athletes, and I create most of the social media content for local legends Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.
If you keep an eye on ITV you might spot me on some old Ninja Warrior UK episodes too. I made it to the final, twice.

Are you based in Leeds?
Close by. I studied at the Northern Film School in Leeds and now live in Wharfedale, just north of the city, so most Leeds venues are a short drive from home.
