Cheshire Wedding Photographer & Videographer
From epic castles to intimate private residences, hotels to church halls. Cheshire is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding, and it’s just over the hills from home.
Wedding photography and films in Cheshire
I’ve been photographing weddings in Cheshire for well over a decade, long enough to have become one of the best-known Peckforton Castle wedding photographers, and to have seen most of the county’s finest venues along the way.
There’s no shortage of recognisable venues here. Beyond Peckforton there are smaller but equally iconic places like Combermere Abbey, Nunsmere Hall and Iscoyd Park, the grand estates of Thornton Manor and Knowsley Hall, and countless private homes and marquees, which always make for the most personal weddings of all.
Cheshire is a short drive from my base in Yorkshire, although I usually stay over the night before at no extra charge, so I’m there bright and early however the morning unfolds.

Why I love Cheshire weddings
Cheshire is the kind of place where every year I find myself at new and exciting venues, and yet some of my most treasured memories are at the ones I know like the back of my hand. New Year’s Eve in the Great Hall at Peckforton, a marquee in the garden of a family home, the grandeur of Manchester Town Hall just up the road.
I film weddings too, so couples in Cheshire can have photography, a cinematic film, or both planned together as one story.

Does it get more personal than a wedding in the grounds of the Cheshire home you grew up in?

Cheshire and North West venues I’ve photographed
Each venue page has photos and notes from real weddings I’ve photographed there.
Cheshire wedding films
I film weddings across Cheshire as well as photographing them: relaxed, cinematic films with drone footage as standard, booked on their own or planned alongside your photography as one story.
You are absolutely incredible. We’re just completely blown away, you captured the day perfectly, completely above and beyond what we expected. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to be involved with our wedding, not just for the photography skills but because we enjoyed getting to know you too.
