Scotland Wedding Photography Yorkshire

This wedding was particularly special as it was Verity's sisters wedding! We were honoured when Leonie & Andrews asked if we shoot their day as we never expect family to choose us just because we are related. Its an important decision for everyone so we were so excited when they wanted us to capture their most important day. Of course the logistics were slightly different as Verity was Leonie's maid of honor so as well as performing as a bridesmaid she also had to capture every moment as best she could! Being so connected to a wedding makes it very hard not to get emotional behind the lens and Verity recalls wiping away tears many times throughout the day! Being able to give someone we love memories they can treasure forever really is the best gift we could ever give.

Leonie and Andrew are volunteers on the RNLI Lifeboat and wanted it to play a big part of their day. As Leonie and her father made their way to the ceremony on the couples sailing boat the RNLI crew joined them on a special outing. It was an incredible sight to see, and what was even better was that the Scottish weather was at its best! Anyone who visits Scotland regularly knows how impressive days like this are so we definitely made the most of it! Their ceremony was held outdoors overlooking the stunning views from Oban surrounded by their closest family and friends.

After a beautiful ceremony and seafood meal the congregation headed into Oban to finish the evening with Cèilidh dancing! Whilst this wedding was so close to our hearts it also re-enforced how important our job is as photographers, we came away so very grateful that we get to do this as our profession and witness so many couples love stories.
