St John London Wedding Photographers Leeds
Claude and Lucy’s St John Wedding was a real highlight of the year for us and we’ve been eager to share this one for quite some time. Their ceremony took place at the stunning Asylum in Southwark before they moved on to St John for the wedding breakfast and reception. It probably goes without saying but when a groom is the proud holder of two Michelin Stars (not to mention a bride who also works in the restaurant industry!) food is always going to be high on the agenda and St John provided an incredibly apt setting for this spectacular wedding.
Given that the industry that Lucy and Claude work in isn’t exactly a 9-5 type of setting it’s hardly surprising that their guests were primarily chefs and food experts from around the world. But what was really lovely to see was the bonds that they had all built over the years with these people who they have worked with or just met on their journey.
I’m not going to claim that we have even the faintest idea of what it takes to get to the level that Lucy and Claude have reached in their careers. However we do know the feeling of having a career that is more than just a job, and it is hard to imagine that either of them would have changed a single thing about their incredible London wedding. They didn’t want to spend hours on couple shots or formalities, instead they chose to spend their time enjoying a beautiful venue, great food and great company. I don’t think you can ask for much more than that!
