Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, but despite the huge variety of options there seem to be a few universal (or at least very common) wedding planning experiences. The noticeable change of pace around 2 months out from the day when all of those last minute jobs start to come into play. The lull after the initial booking frenzy. Often it’s life that dictates how a wedding will be planned. For Ashleigh and Robert that was very much the case, with Ashleigh’s busy job as a nurse and Roberts background in night club management he quickly fell into the role of wedding planner. Judging by their incredible day at Thornton Manor earlier this year I’d say it was a role he was perfect for! With a lineup of the best suppliers the we could ask to work with, including two of our best friends Tony and Sara from Marry Me Films who we always love working with.
We love it when couples bring their personalities to the wedding, and in this case that meant an evening reception not soon to be forgotten. Helped along by the awesome Six15 the evening might have finished the day with a bang but between the guest of honour (the couple’s Great Dane!) and the stunning cake by Carla’s Cake Studio, the evening was really just the cherry on the icing of what was one of the most fun filled days we can remember!
