A winter rate for the quiet months
Winter is the quietest time of year for weddings, and it has always given me some of my favourite ones: low light, candles, fires lit and a dance floor that fills early. So for weddings between November and April I keep a small number of dates at a seasonal rate: the same full day I photograph in June, for £1,000.
Nothing is reduced apart from the price. All-day coverage with no set hours, every photograph individually edited, travel and accommodation included across England, and the same person who has photographed more than 500 weddings in London, Cheshire and Yorkshire since 2010.
The winter rate is open for bookings until 31 January 2027. After that, winter dates go back to the usual collections.

Prices are for weddings between 1 November 2026 and 30 April 2027, booked between 1 November 2026 and 31 January 2027, subject to availability. Weddings inside the M25 carry a £100 supplement towards London travel and parking. Travel and accommodation elsewhere in England are included; some of Scotland and Wales at a small premium.
The same day, in winter
A winter wedding day runs differently, and I plan it with you: portraits in the last of the afternoon light, the candlelit rooms that only come into their own after dark, and a party that starts earlier and goes on longer.
Peckforton Castle on New Year’s Eve, St John Restaurant in December, a marquee at home in February. Some of the weddings I’m proudest of happened in the months most people avoid.

Questions couples ask
Is this really the same as your full-price collections?
Yes. Same coverage, same editing, same gallery, same me. The only difference is the date: the rate applies to weddings between November and April.
Why is it cheaper?
Winter is the quiet season for weddings, so each year I keep a few of those dates at a seasonal rate rather than leave them empty. It’s the same reason venues price winter dates lower.
Can we have photos and film?
Add the mini film to either photography collection for a flat £500, or book film on its own for full-day coverage.
We’re getting married in London. Does the rate apply?
Yes. Weddings inside the M25 carry a £100 supplement towards London travel and parking; everywhere else in England is included.
How long is the rate available?
For bookings made up to 31 January 2027, for any wedding between November and April. Dates go when they’re booked, so send me yours and I’ll tell you straight away whether it’s free.
What happens next?
Tell me your date and venue through the contact page. I reply within 48 hours, usually sooner, and if the date is free a simple contract and deposit secure it.
