Woodlands Wedding Photography Leeds

It seems like this year, more than any other, we’ve been travelling all over for weddings. That’s one of the reasons we love our job so much, we get to shoot in new places and explore areas we haven’t been to before! But as we love Yorkshire so much it’s great to still have a few closer to home. Sarah and Allan chose Woodlands for their wedding day, a venue we remembered well from Sarah and Adam’s wedding there last year – making this blog title strangely similar!

Earlier this year we met Sarah and Allan in Manchester’s Castlefields for their engagement shoot, a fantastic spot we’d never been to before that made for some great urban shots (and a good setting for a Bulmers advert apparently!). On that day we were lucky enough to enjoy fantastic weather and in the weeks leading up to their wedding day we were beginning to think their wedding day might be the polar opposite. Fortunately when we woke up we were greeted with blue skies and what turned out to be a scorcher of a day. With one side of the marquee raised, a huge fan at work, and guests enjoying the outdoor games on the lawn, nobody could have asked for a better day for a wedding!

It was lovely to see everything turn out so perfectly for Sarah and Allan. Heartfelt speeches, welcoming guests, great table details and decorations as well as the beautiful woodland setting. I’m pretty sure neither of them could have asked for anything more!
