Kelly & Lee’s Roundhay Park Engagement Photography
As you’ve probably seen, we have been busy with engagement shoots since… well the end of last year! We always stress how important it is for both us and the couple to do an engagement session, it really is the perfect way to get to know each other and realise that having your photograph taken can be a lot of fun! It shouldn’t be something you are not looking forward to on your wedding day, our aim to make sure you are relaxed and can enjoy your day without having to worry about what we are up to. Engagement shoots are also a great chance for us to get to try out new techniques and having been to Roundhay Park for a few engagement shoots in the past we where keen to make sure we brought Kelly and Lee a new take on it.
When couples have a dog its always great to bring them along to the shoot, it gives the couple something to distract them and is a great ice breaker for photographs! Kelly and Lee brought their lovely dog Ella, who was surprisingly similarly behaved to our own! Bouncing and running around the park like a puppy! It happened to be bank holiday on Easter weekend and with the glorious weather it was packed! We took a more quieter route round the park and with the beautiful light that was beaming through the trees I think we made the right choice. Kelly and Lee are such a great couple and it was great to get to know them a bit more before their big day later this year, I’m pretty sure we could have stayed chatting to them all day!
