At this time of year we find we’re often a bit overwhelmed with the whole wedding season, August is, without fail, the busiest month of each year. Added to that is the fact that it also always seems to be a peak time for bookings for the next year (or next three!). Despite the hard drives full of images ready to be edited, and our ever growing list of weddings to put on the blog, we are still so excited about the weddings coming up this weekend, the rest of the month, the rest of the year and next year. The thing is the more we learn about a couple’s wedding day plans, the more we look forward to their day!

Some of you might remember Jen and Andrew’s fantastic Crow Hill Wedding from October, we loved everything about the day and it proved popular with everyone else too as it was featured in wedding magazines and a few wedding blogs earlier this year!  Well, Erica was Jen’s maid of honour, so we knew early on that this was going to be a wedding we’d love, full of the kind of awesome people we love to spend our weekends shooting.

Fortunately for us, we were spot on. Even without the Pokeball wedding ring box, or the fantastic weather or even the awesome custom shoes Erica wore, this would still have been one of our favourite weddings this year. Woody and Erica are the kind of couple who it’s impossible not to have fun with and their wedding reflected that from start to end. It’s always nice to have an outdoor wedding especially when the weather plays ball and we were lucky enough to not see a spot of rain all day.

It’s hard not to leave a wedding feeling like you want to stay and party away with carefree guests. Even with sore feet and aching backs we’re lucky enough to have the kind of couples that just make you want to put the camera bags in the car and enjoy the night! It’s funny because we often leave not really knowing if and when we’ll see the couple again. This time was a bit different though, as we actually met up with the ‘team bride’ and ‘team groom’ for some Laser tag just a few days later! For now I’ll leave you with their amazing wedding, soon to be followed up their Laser tag-post wedding shoot!
