Charlotte and George’s Yorkshire Engagement Photography
We love getting to know our couples, and to us it’s one of the best things about our job! Apart from anything else we find it really helps us to blend in on the day when couples feel more relaxed around us. When Charlotte and George popped round to visit us last year we spent hours and hours chatting away about everything from the wedding, to Charlotte’s true love….cows and George’s love of cycling!
And so when we were looking at locations for their engagement shoot it pretty much went without saying that the location had to include somewhere with cows (much to Verity’s disappointment as she has a slight fear of them!).We opted for Strid wood, just up from Bolton Abbey and a short drive away from where Verity and I got married almost two years ago. It’s a fantastic walk taking in some lovely views of the River Wharfe, we didn’t actually realise the place would be closed at sunset but it did mean we had a nice peaceful walk!
Much like when George and Charlotte first popped over to visit most of our time was spent talking about non-wedding related subjects, a sure sign that things will go brilliantly on the wedding day it’s-self as we know we’ll be shooting an awesome bride and groom!
