Becky & David – Cheshire Wedding

I’m not sure why, but there’s a misconception around that pragmatism precludes the ability to have fun, that you have to choose to live life one way or another. This year perhaps more than ever before we’ve seen couple after couple who totally dispel that myth. One of the first things David and Becky said to us on their engagement shoot was that they were both very sensible in life. As sensible as they may both be, it’s certainly not what defines them and their wedding was an incredible glimpse into their infectiously happy lives together that we were honoured to be a part of.

They both grew up in the countryside moving in somewhat different circles with David spending his time playing football while Becky was a Cheshire Dairy Queen. A far cry from where their romance began in London having each headed south for their respective careers in fashion. It’s safe to say that at heart, they both love the countryside, but life has a way of putting us in the right place at the right time and for them that meant the city.

I know it sounds like a cliché, but having recently moved back to the North David and Becky’s farm wedding really did feel like the start of their lives together. Surrounded by their families and friends they had met along the way they both exuded happiness. There’s no place like home, and no matter how much they love the countryside, home will always be more than just a geographical location for David and Becky.
